Today we had the privilege of going to Kamsar to do the main shopping for the New Tribes Base. Ev and Muffie are the couple that run the base store. They purchase most of their supplies in Kamsar. This saves all the missionaries having to make the long drive to get their groceries. Our 1st stop was at the Marche (farmers market/flea market). To do it justice you'd have to experience not just the sights, but the heat, smells and sounds too. If you computer has a scratch-n-sniff option maybe that will work with the picture, although I don't think I had that feature turned on with our camera. We filled our Land Rover plus had the roof rack filled up by the time we headed home. At one grocery store, we made out at the up to 90% off cart. Most of the stuff was just past date or close, but it's all good, especially when you get $80 worth of stuff for $10.
I tried scratch-and-sniffing the picture, but all I got was a big gash through my screen... ;)
